SCIENCE EXPLORATIONS \u2013 LIFE SCIENCE LABS \u2013 GRADES 4-6<\/h1>\n

Science Explorations Lab Course consists of a series (12) of 60-minute middle school (grades 4-6) laboratory experiences. The course is designed for students who have some background in science. The activities in this course focus on an introduction to the Life<\/strong>\u00a0sciences<\/b> and provide students an opportunity to participate in qualitative and quantitative observations. This series of laboratory experiences is designed to meet the appropriate California NGSS and California Science Content Standards (grades 4-6) in life sciences. Each lab is a hands-on experience designed to stimulate student interest in science and enhance their understanding of scientific concepts and processes. Students gain practice in variety of science skills including observation, prediction, classification, recording and analysis of data, evaluating, applying, and problem solving.<\/p>\n

Each lab is a hands-on experience designed to stimulate student interest in science and enhance their understanding of scientific concepts and processes.
